Valeria is a Peruvian performance artist based in London.
She works across live art, immersive performance, physical theatre and dance.
Her work is raw, direct and body centred, with a tinge of dark humour; and has been shown at Temporary Autonomous Art, Shunt, RART, ]performancespace[, ICA and Buzzcut @Supper Club and Experiencias de la Carne in Lima (Peru).
As part of The People Pile and BitterSuite, Valeria performed at Latitude, Wilderness, Vaults Festival, Shunt, The Roundhouse, TED X, Future Fest, Richmix and Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York (USA).
Valeria is 1/2 of Menemen and 1/4 of Champagne Dub. As Mamá Calor (her DJ alter ego), she hosted Chacombo, a show dedicated entirely to showcase Peruvian music on Resonance FM.
